Christopher and Jessica were on a road trip with their dog from Switzerland to Sweden. Christopher had found Ule Nabbe on Falsterbonäset online and decided to propose to Jessica in this beautiful and unusual setting.
Then he found me and asked if I could capture this in photos. Jessica thought we were going to have a regular couples shoot and had no idea of Christopher's plans.
I met up with the couple, photographed a bit during our walk to the place where the proposal was to take place. I gave Christopher the secret key sentence so he would know it was time. I kept a little distance so as not to disturb the moment for the couple. I didn't hear what was said but I and my camera saw all the emotions that were played out there on the meadow by the sea.
How wonderful to continue photographing a couple so filled with emotion and each other after this event. Also the Swedish weather showed itself from its very best side this early summer morning. I am truly grateful for this incredible experience.
